About Us
Our Story
Unsheltered Tortoise and Turtle was founded in 2023 by a Registered Veterinary Technician who is passionate about shelled creatures and saw the need for a turtle wildlife care rescue in the local area. Since then, we have have rehabilitated multiple turtles in need. We are a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit located in Huntersville, NC just north of Charlotte. We also take in tortoises that need a sanctuary home.
Our Facility
We provide a safe and comfortable environment for animals in need. With spacious enclosures, we are able to provide the highest level of care to every animal that comes through our doors.
