We're Here to Help
If you have found yourself unable to care for your animal, please submit a request below to surrender. We ask that you provide us as much information as possible. We will contact you as soon as we can to help support you. We only take in land species, no aquatics. We have box turtles and sulcatas available for adoption. Additionally, we work with other rescues and people looking to rehome their tortoises. Sponsorship/ Sanctuary Stay
How it Works:
We understand the dedication and time spent raising your tortoise. You can choose to surrender them and sponsor them to allow the tortoise to stay in the sanctuary with us! Some tortoises cost more than others to care for (i.e. requiring separate enclosures, heating, space required), the donations we ask are the following:
Small Species (Russians, Greek, Hermann’s, etc) Monthly $50
Medium Species (Redfoots, Yellowfoots, Leopards, etc) Monthly $75
Large Species (Sulcata, etc ) Monthly$100
Sponsorship donations can be paid up front for 12 months or set up on a subscription plan where you will get charged automatically each month. We will send donation receipts if requested.

Unique Species or Special Case
Unique species or high profile species are welcome to join the sanctuary, and in some cases, may not require sponsorship as they add value to our educational program. Additionally, tortoises with special cases and interesting stories may also fit this situation. Please inquire about sanctuary stay for your unique species.
